A Saint-Barthélemy eSIM Starts at 1.14 Dollars, and Airalo Carries the Thirty-Day Cards
The island list divides neatly by what each brand is good for. Esimaccess has the two cheapest cards and the best rates per gigabyte, in small sizes. Roamify covers the middle of the range, three to twenty gigabytes at seven or fifteen days, plus short uncapped cards. Airalo is the only place a full month of validity appears. Pick by how long you are staying first, and the shortlist narrows to one or two cards.
Esimaccess Holds the Two Cheapest Cards on the Island
Both are small and short, and both carry the best rates per gigabyte in the list. One gigabyte over seven days is 1.14 dollars. Three gigabytes over fifteen days is 2.85, which works out to 0.95 a gigabyte, the lowest figure on the page.
Who These Two Suit
A few days on the island with the phone on maps, messaging and the occasional upload. Three gigabytes covers a fortnight of that comfortably, and at 2.85 dollars there is little reason to model it more carefully than that.
Where the Range Ends
Esimaccess stops at three gigabytes here. Above that size the Roamify and Airalo cards take over. Within each brand the rate improves as the block gets bigger, but the starting point differs: Roamify twenty gigabytes is about 1.05 a gigabyte and Airalo twenty gigabytes about 2.45, against the 0.95 of the small Esimaccess card.
Roamify Covers Three to Twenty Gigabytes at Seven or Fifteen Days
This is the widest part of the shelf. Three gigabytes over seven days is 5.87 dollars; five gigabytes is 9.35 for a week or 10.64 for a fortnight; ten gigabytes is 14.31 and 15.77; twenty gigabytes is 20.94 and 22.27.
The Twenty Gigabyte Cards Give the Best Rate in This Group
At 20.94 dollars for a week, twenty gigabytes works out to about 1.05 a gigabyte, better than any other Roamify card here. If a trip genuinely needs that much data, it is the efficient way to buy it.
Short Uncapped Cards From 3.86 Dollars
Roamify also lists uncapped cards at one, three and five days, at 3.86, 6.95 and 11 dollars. For a weekend where estimating data is more trouble than it is worth, the one and three day cards do the job without a cap to watch.
Airalo Is Where a Full Month of Validity Appears
Every thirty-day card on the island comes from Airalo: three gigabytes at 19 dollars, five at 27, ten at 39 and twenty at 49. Its uncapped cards also run longer than anyone else, from seven days at 36 dollars up to thirty days at 99.
When Thirty Days Is the Deciding Factor
For a stay of three weeks or a month, this is the group to read. The twenty gigabyte monthly card at 49 dollars gives about 2.45 a gigabyte with a month of runway, and no other card on the page offers that length at any size.
Buying Twice Instead
For a two-week stay the Roamify fifteen-day cards cover the same ground at a lower rate, and for shorter trips the Esimaccess pair is cheaper still. The Airalo cards earn their place when validity, not rate, is the constraint.
Saint-Barthélemy Stopped Being EU Territory in 2012
This matters if you were planning to travel on an EU allowance. Saint-Barthélemy is French, and French territories in the Caribbean are usually EU outermost regions where EU law applies in full. This one is not, and has not been for over a decade.
What the Council Decided
Council Decision 2010/718/EU, adopted 29 October 2010, states that with effect from 1 January 2012, the island of Saint-Barthélemy shall cease to be an outermost region of the Union. It moved into the category the European Commission describes as Overseas Countries and Territories, of which the Commission writes that OCTs are neither part of the EU territory nor of the EU single market. The island does not appear on the Commission list of countries where an EU allowance applies, so a local card is the practical way to arrive connected.
Gustavia and Saint-Jean Draw on One Island List
Nothing here is written for one part of the island. Buying for Gustavia and buying for Saint-Jean pull the same cards, because every card covers the whole collectivity. A Gustavia eSIM is the same product as the one used at the airport.
Twenty-Five Square Kilometres, One Price
The harbour at Gustavia and the airstrip at Saint-Jean sit a few minutes apart, and the rest of the island is smaller still. Choose by the length of the stay and the amount of data, and where you are staying makes no difference to the bill.

Caribbean cards sit alongside the island ones and reach many more places. Matched size for size against the same brand, they cost several times the local price, which is the trade for the wider footprint.
When the Wider Card Is Worth It
On an itinerary that takes in other islands, one Caribbean card replaces several local purchases and the arithmetic can turn in its favour. For a stay confined to Saint-Barthélemy, the island cards cover the same days for a fraction of the outlay.
