Hong Kong and Macao — both Chinese SARs — operate under different digital regimes, and everything you use at home works normally. The single most common Macao itinerary is a day or overnight trip from Hong Kong. The TurboJET and Cotai Water Jet ferries cross from Hong Kong (Sheung Wan or Kowloon) to the Macao Outer Harbour or Taipa Ferry Terminal in about 55-70 minutes; the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge coach adds a road option (about 45 minutes end to end). Cotai, the Historic Centre and Coloane — A 32 km² Country
Macao's small size makes it walkable for the highlights.
