There Is No Airport — Here's How You Actually Get In

The three practical routes: Zurich Airport (ZRH) → train to Sargans or Buchs → LIEmobil bus into Vaduz (about 2 hours 15 minutes end-to-end); Feldkirch station in Austria → LIEmobil bus 11 or 13 direct into the principality (about 25 minutes); or the S-Bahn from Buchs across the Rhine into Schaan and Vaduz. Coverage reality in a country this small

Short list: you're a non-EEA traveller (UK post-Brexit, US, Canadian, Australian, Asian) whose home plan charges heavily for Liechtenstein. Or you're on a Swiss plan that doesn't include Liechtenstein and you're doing more than a quick day trip. Or you're staying longer than four months and would blow through EU 'Roam Like at Home' fair-use limits. Or you specifically want to work from Vaduz for a while and need reliable 5G without touching your home number. In all other cases — a same-day Zurich → Vaduz → Zurich round trip on an EU home plan — you probably don't need one, and honest pricing means saying so.
