The Pamir Highway Is the Reason Most People Reach This Page, and No Tajikistan eSIM Can Promise You Signal On It
Dushanbe, Khujand, Khorog, Panjakent and Iskanderkul need one purchase between them, not several. Most visitors are not here for the cities though, and the honest version of this page is mostly about what we will not tell you. Dushanbe eSIM is a common search, and so is Khujand eSIM. Neither is a separate product in Tajikistan.
Compare Every Plan for Tajikistan
The plan list above shows every Tajikistan plan we sell, and it counts both Tajikistan only plans and wider regional plans that include Tajikistan, because you can buy either from this page. Prices and lengths come from the live list and change when suppliers reprice.
Roamify: the cheapest data in the list above
The lowest rate per gigabyte on this page, across the full spread of lengths, with unlimited options available. It is not the cheapest way in.
Airalo: the widest unlimited choice
More unlimited plans than anything else on this page. Its entry price is by far the dearest of the main cards, and its rate per gigabyte lands just above the best.
Esimfly: the broadest range of plan sizes
The broadest range of plan sizes on this page, over the longer lengths, with a rate per gigabyte in the upper half. No unlimited option.
Esimaccess: the lowest entry price in the list above
The cheapest way onto this page, on short cards, and the dearest rate per gigabyte among the main cards. No unlimited option.
Telcovision: the outlier
Entry here starts many times above the cheapest entry on this page.
Mobile Data on the High Sections of the Pamir
This is the destination where invented coverage detail would do the most harm, so what follows is limited to what is actually published.
Nothing here names the local network
The Pamir Highway runs above 4,000 metres for long stretches and crosses country with very few people in it. No supplier we buy from publishes per region coverage for wholesale plans, so anyone telling you exactly where signal stops on that route is guessing. We are not going to.
What to do instead
Treat mobile data as unavailable for planning purposes on the high sections and carry offline maps. If connectivity on that route is safety critical for you, a satellite messenger is the tool for it, not an eSIM. No eSIM on this page changes that.
Which Tajik Network You Get, and Why We Will Not Say
The standard question, and it matters more here than usual.
Not published, and the market is concentrated
No supplier here publishes which Tajik network a plan roams onto. In a small market it is tempting to assume you know, and assuming is exactly what we avoid.
A Thin Catalogue With a Wide Price Range
Worth knowing before you scroll.
Compare on cost per gigabyte
The entry prices here run from a few dollars to several times that, and the cheapest plan to buy is not the cheapest to use. The list above shows where each card falls on both measures.
Sizing a Plan for Cities and for the Pamirs
Two very different trips reach this page.
City stays
Dushanbe and Khujand behave like any other city stay. Maps, messaging and browsing over a week fit inside a small to mid bundle.
Overland routes
If you are driving the Pamir Highway, buy for the days at either end rather than the days in between, because the middle is where you should not be counting on data at all.
Two Things to Settle Before Dushanbe
Two steps, and the first one matters more here than almost anywhere.
Install and test at home
Download, install and confirm the line works before you leave. There is no realistic way to troubleshoot an installation problem from a mountain pass.
Check the handset
The phone has to support eSIM and be unlocked. Our device list covers the models that do.
