eSIM Installation Guide

Learn how to install your eSIM using different methods - QR code scanning, manual entry, or direct installation

Direct Install

iPhone only - One tap installation directly from our app or website

Manual Entry

Copy and paste SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code into your phone settings

Works on all devices

QR Code

Display QR on a second device (computer, tablet, another phone) and scan it

Requires second device

Important Note

You cannot scan a QR code displayed on the same device. If you're viewing your eSIM on your phone, use the Manual Entry method or the Direct Install button (iPhone only). The QR code method requires displaying the code on a second device.

iPhone Installation

iPhone XS and newer models

Method 1: Direct Install (Recommended)

Go to your Orders page and tap "Install eSIM"

Tap "Install on iPhone" button

Your iPhone will automatically open the eSIM installation screen

Tap "Continue" and follow the on-screen instructions

Method 2: Manual Entry

Go to Settings > Mobile Data > Add eSIM

Select "Use QR Code" then tap "Enter Details Manually"

Copy and paste the SM-DP+ Address

Copy and paste the Activation Code

Tap "Next" and complete the setup

Android Installation

Samsung, Google Pixel, and other Android devices

Samsung Devices

Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager

Tap "Add eSIM" or the "+" button

Select "Enter activation code" (for manual entry)

Paste the SM-DP+ Address and Activation Code

Confirm and wait for activation to complete

Google Pixel Devices

Go to Settings > Network & internet > SIMs

Tap "+" to add a new SIM

Choose "Don't have a SIM card?" > "Enter manually"

Enter the activation code from your order

Follow the prompts to complete installation

QR Code Installation

Requires a second device to display the QR code

Display QR on Second Device

Open your order on a computer, tablet, or another phone. Click 'Install eSIM' and go to the QR Code tab.

Open Camera Settings

iPhone: Settings > Mobile Data > Add eSIM > Use QR Code
Android: Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM > Scan QR Code

Scan the QR Code

Point your phone's camera at the QR code displayed on the second device.

Complete Installation

Follow the on-screen prompts to finish setting up your eSIM.

Troubleshooting

eSIM Not Activating

Make sure you have a stable internet connection (Wi-Fi recommended). Restart your device and try again.

No Connection After Install

Enable data roaming: Settings > Mobile Data > your eSIM > Enable Data Roaming

Invalid QR Code Error

Each eSIM can only be installed once. If you've already installed it, the QR code becomes invalid.

Device Not Compatible

Not all devices support eSIM. Check if your device is eSIM compatible and carrier unlocked.
